Blog 1- History of This Website

I am writing this first blog to explain a little history about our website. For a few years I thought of creating a website for ministry and another for car repairs. My wife and I have been involved in teaching Bible studies, evangelism, and nursing home ministry. We wanted a web site where we could post Bible teaching videos, and share various inspirations from the Bible (the Word of God). God has blessed us in many ways in family, ministry, church groups and His promises in the Bible. Jesus said in Matthew 10:8b NKJV, “Freely you have received, freely give.” We want to be able to give to others so that everyone may "know the love of Christ that passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God." (Ephesians 3:19 NKJV). Even though I've had this on my heart for several years, I just got around to building this website. If you sense the Lord wants you to do something, you should do it. This website is still in process, but I pray that everyone will be encouraged in faith and realize the blessings available in Jesus Christ and in having a personal relationship with Him and God the Father.

Blog 2: In Times of Stress or Need

Pray, Believe, and Confess the Word of God

  1. Assurance of God's love: Jeremiah 31:3- Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; NKJV; John 3:16- For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son...

  2. Assurance that God is with me: Romans 10:9-10- that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Psalm 16:8- I have set the Lord always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.

  3. In fear: 2 Timothy 1:7- God hath not given us a spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and a sound mind.; John 14:27- Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

  4. Doubt or Fear: I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. NKJV

  5. In stress and worry: Philippians 4:6-7- Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; Isaiah 26:3- Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.

  6. In sickness: Isaiah 53:5- and with his stripes, we are healed.; Psalm 103:3- Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;

  7. In Trials and Suffering: Psalm 34:19- Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all. KJV; Romans 8:28- And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them that are called according to his purpose. KJV

  8. In Financial need/ Provisions: Matthew 6:33- But seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.; Malachi 3:10- Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

I'm sure we would all want God to open the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing on us.

Need comfort: Psalm 119:50- This is my comfort in my affliction, For Your word has given me life. NKJV; John 14:26- But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

  1. 10Promotion: Psalm 75:6-7- For promotion cometh not from the east nor from the west, nor from the south. But God is judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another. KJV; 1 Peter 5:6- Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: KJV

    11Salvation of family and others- Acts 16:31- So they said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.”; 2 Peter 3:9- The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, As some count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

    12Mercy- Psalm 86:15- But You, O Lord, are a God full of compassion, and gracious, Longsuffering and abundant in mercy and truth.; Deuteronomy 7:9- Know therefore that the Lord thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations;

1.Know that God hears our prayers. Matthew 7:7- Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: KJV

Pray about situations and problems. Lord, what are we going to do about this? Lord, you see the problem. READ PSALM 142.

  1. Give God something to work with. (Praise Him, give thanks, speak the Word of God, help someone else, bring all the tithes into the storehouse, give an offering)

  2. Pray for boldness for witnessing- evangelism. People are important to God. God loves everyone and everyone needs to have the opportunity to receive Jesus as their Lord.

  3. Pray that God will use you to love and reach others.
